Our Team
Andrew Charbonneau, CFP®
President / CEO
Hi, I’m Andrew Charbonneau, President and CEO of Redwood Wealth Management, a firm rooted in dynamic, individualized financial planning. I founded Redwood with the vision of bringing a more active financial management solution to families and business owners.
With connections to advisors in many other firms, I found that many clients were receiving a solution for investment management, but a lack of guidance in other principals of finance. From the beginning, I knew that Redwood’s goal was to provide knowledge and instill confidence in our clients not just through our investment management, but with tax planning, estate planning, business succession and overall financial education. Simplifying the world of financial planning so each of our clients fully understand the best way to achieve their goals is key to their success.
I grew up with three older siblings and saw how hard my father worked as a Biomedical Engineer at Detroit Medical Center to support our family. My mother worked in early childhood development, pouring her love and energy into helping care for and mold young minds. The words, ‘children learn from what you do, and not what you say’ could not be any truer. Their guidance taught me that working hard and having empathy for others are two of the most important aspects in all areas of life. While they told me stories of how I was great at numbers from a young age, counting change in my mom’s purse at the age of four, it was the empathy my mother had for others that guided me on this path of using my knowledge to change people’s lives for the better.
My true passion for financial planning started early while I was attending Northwood University to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, and Management. I excelled in courses centered on portfolio management, tax planning, and business development. Seeing all of the important factors that lead to success in personal finance and business made me realize how little education is provided to the majority of people who do not take this path.
With that in mind, I put a strong emphasis on education in my career. I received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERâ„¢ designation to better assist my clients in all aspects of their planning needs to achieve their financial goals with confidence.
My wife, Katie, and I and are blessed with two wonderful children, Finn and Evelyn. We enjoy bringing them along on our outdoor adventures (hiking, biking, kayaking). Family is extremely important to us, and because of this, I know that financial planning is not always just for the individual, or the business, but for generations of family to come.
Stuart Hall
Senior Broker Partner
Hi, I'm Stuart Hall, Senior Broker Partner to Andrew Charbonneau at Redwood Wealth Management. I started my financial carrier while serving in the U.S. Navy. I was hand selected to serve with the Admiral staff at Commander Submarine Force U.S. Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor, HI. My financial duties were to all submarines, submarine bases, and submarine tenders in the Pacific Fleet. My duties were keeping and maintaining financial records of supply activity throughout the submarine forces on the west coast and overseas. While serving in the Navy, I knew that I wanted to continue my carrier in finance in the civilian world.
I studied International Finance at Hawaii Pacific College and Personal Finance at Cleary College. Throughout my 20 years of experience in the field of finance, I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from many great financial advisors. My foundation has always been to serve my clients in their best interest and to understand what their financial goals are in protecting their family needs. My priority is to help educate my clients so that together, we can find a solution in protecting their financial interests and meeting their goals.
In 2025 I retired from another one of my passions, officiating college baseball. I have been blessed to work with so many great baseball officials in the Big Ten, Mid-American , Big East and many other conferences. My passion for the game led me to being selected to work for the 2019 College World Series in Cary, North Carolina. I have been in baseball for over 30 years giving back to the game by coaching my son’s team and mentoring other baseball officials young and old. I also enjoy officiating high school basketball and volunteering my time to the ARC origination with people that have intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families.
My wife, Michelle, and I have a son Ian who will be graduating from high school in the spring of 2026 and will be attending and playing college baseball in the fall. Michelle and I believe in family and knowing that financial planning is extremely important in protecting our family assets now and in the future. My goal is to provide your family or business with a strategic financial plan that will help protect your assets for years to come.
Alicia Nagel
Executive Assistant
Hello, my name is Alicia Nagel, and I am the Executive Assistant to Andrew Charbonneau at Redwood Wealth Management. My professional background is diverse, including a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University and six years of experience working in a law firm. In 2025, I became a licensed life insurance agent, as well as a Certified Notary for the State of Michigan.
At Redwood, my role supports both our advisory team and our clients throughout the financial planning process. This includes assisting with account setup, service requests, and helping ensure each client experience is organized, efficient, and seamless. Working in the financial services industry has expanded my knowledge and allows me to contribute to our firm’s mission of improving lives through thoughtful financial planning and education.
Outside of work, a healthy and active lifestyle is important to me. Time outdoors is a priority, whether it be gardening in my yard, hiking new trails, kayaking down a lazy river, or camping in the forests. My husband, Justin, and I maintain over 700 square feet of raised garden beds and enjoy harvesting and preserving the fruits and vegetables we grow. I also enjoy baking sourdough bread and getting creative with new recipes in the kitchen.
Wellness practices such as yoga and meditation are an important part of my routine, along with a commitment to living and working with kindness, empathy, and respect. I’m always looking for meaningful ways to connect with others and make a positive impact.
